They chose Rugier

"The rug wasn't in stock when I ordered, so there was about a six week wait. The team kept me updated throughout, which made the wait easy to manage. Worth it in the end. The quality justifies the timeline."
Abigail M. London
Charlotte d C., Paris
"Ordered after receiving a sample. The wool is dense, the colors more vivid in person, the carving detail precise. It anchors the room without dominating it. Packaging was handled with care."
Emma W. Marlow
"The depth of color is something the photos don’t fully capture. Rich texture, clean finish, and careful packaging. The room feels different with it. Excellent communication throughout."
James H. Chipping Norton
Pilar O. Madrid
"The sample system made the decision easy. The Felix arrived in perfect condition, the graphic pattern is sharp and the wool quality holds up to close inspection. Very nice experience."
Sarah K. London

The Rugier Craft Shop

Our rugs are hand-tufted in Bhadohi, North India, in historic workshops where expertise has been passed down through generations. We work with New Zealand wool for its resilience and the precision it allows in shaving. Silk is used occasionally, where the design calls for a variation of light.

Ruggier was born from the meeting of artists, textile designers and creators united by a shared conviction: bold drawing deserves a place in everyday life.

We believe beauty is never incidental, and that it plays an essential role in the way we inhabit our spaces.

Ruggier rugs, canvases and textiles are conceived and designed in France by a collective of artists from diverse backgrounds, in close dialogue with textile designers. The material becomes a field of expression for creators whose works had, until now, never been translated into textile form.
