Reflets moirés

Moire's undulating lines play on a paradox: a fixed pattern that is never read the same way twice. Depending on the chosen palette, the same curves evoke the shimmering of a silk fabric stretched in the light, or the compact density of an animal's coat. It's not the design that changes; it's the color that determines what you see. Silk threads are integrated into certain areas to accentuate reflections and vary the surface depending on the angle of incidence. The rug captures light differently in the morning and evening, from the threshold of the room or from the center. A presence that evolves with the time of day, without ever seeking to impose itself.
