Two patterns, four different interpretations. Depending on the chosen palette, Moirage's undulating lines evoke the shimmer of silk fabric stretched in the light, or the density of an animal's fur. The pattern doesn't change. It's the color that determines what we see.
Silk threads are integrated into certain areas to accentuate reflections and vary the surface according to the angle of the light. These carpets are never quite the same depending on the time of day and where you stand.

Highland Mosaic draws its inspiration from the Scottish Highlands: their light, their tall grasses, their vast mineral expanses. Alice Wood has captured the colours and structures of the land and reassembled them into geometric, modular blocks, akin to both mosaic and pixel art. The fox, the deer, the wading bird appear as discreet presences, barely distinguishable from the background that absorbs them. Each rug develops its own chromatic range according to the animal and landscape it embodies. The ochres and sandstones of the fox evoke moors and rocks. The muted greens of the deer recreate plains and mist. The deep blues of the bird reflect water and marshes. A single graphic language, three interpretations of the north.
