A single color, presented in its own depth. The old rose of this rug is both nude and beige, a shade that is not easily named, and that is precisely its strength. Depending on the light, the surface shifts between warm and cool, without ever being distinctly one or the other.
The composition plays on the repetition of square modules that border two large central frames. The pattern is architectural, almost classical, akin to a Haussmannian facade or a wood paneling caisson. At this scale and in this material, the rug ceases to be a floor covering to become an object in its own right, a piece of furniture placed in the room.
Technique
Hand-tufted rug from Bhadohi, India. Made from New Zealand wool. The base surface has a pile height of 10 mm; the raised modules reach 20 mm, their edges beveled (carving bevel) to emphasize shadow and enhance the sculptural legibility of the design. Cotton backing. Hand-serged edges.

Hand-tufted rug from Bhadohi, North India. Medium density: approximately 4.6 kg of wool per m², ensuring a generous, dense, and durable material. This rug offers a soft, very thick, and comfortable feel.
Each piece is handcrafted. Slight variations may occur and contribute to the unique character of each rug.

As screens can alter color perception, the sample allows you to precisely validate the shade and density of the wool in your interior.

Maintenance tips
A Rugier rug is a living textile piece, hand-tufted in dense wool.
With simple and regular care, it will maintain its texture and the depth of its colors for many years.
Vacuum 1 to 2 times a week with a smooth nozzle, without a rotating brush.
A slight loss of fibers may occur at the beginning: this is natural and will diminish over time.
In case of a stain, dab immediately without rubbing and avoid harsh products.
Cut protruding threads; never pull them.
Professional cleaning is recommended every 3 to 4 years.

Delivery
All our orders are shipped with Geodis, a specialist in furniture and large item transport. Your rugs are delivered directly to your door, with delivery tracking.
For in-stock models, allow 5 to 10 business days. For rugs made to order (specified on each product page), manufacturing takes 5 weeks. You will be informed at each stage.
The rugs are carefully rolled and protected for transport.

In accordance with current legislation, you have a period of 14 days after receipt to exercise your right of withdrawal (excluding custom-made rugs).
Return costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in the case of a proven defect.

The rug wasn't in stock when I ordered, so there was about a six week wait. The team kept me updated throughout, which made the wait easy to manage. Worth it in the end. The quality justifies the timeline.
